NOTES

Sunday

REBUILDING A BROKEN LIFE:

Specific Keys Given From Nehemiah

Hard Work

--> Rebuilding A Broken Life Will Require Hard Work Because—

I. We Will Need To Make Assessments—Nehemiah 2:11-16.

***Two kinds of assessments

A. Personal assessment—Ex.—Ps. 51:3-6

B. Spiritual assessment—Ex.—Psalm 40:1-3

II. We Will Need To Implement What We Assessed—Nehemiah 2:17-18

III. We Will Face Opposition—Nehemiah 2:10; 6:5-9

***Reasons For This Opposition

A. They like the way the person is—broken

B. They do not want to lose their power and control

C. They are afraid

IV.  We Must Be Committed—Nehemiah 6:15-16

***Accomplished by—

A. Letting go

B. Moving forward

C. Pressing on

***Philippians 3:13-14 NIV
